Karole Parkhurst | Senior Care Advisor
Phone: (205) 905-9741

Since Karole can remember she has always had a love for helping others. When she was younger, she saw how much her grandparents benefited greatly using in-home caregivers and skilled nurses until they passed. Karole got her degree in Psychology at the University of Alabama, and obtained her first mental health job as a Direct Care worker at a Crisis Stabilization Unit in 2011. With almost 10 years working in Behavioral Health, she chose to work her last two years at a Geriatric Psychiatric Unit in Birmingham in 2016. It was then when Karole truly found her calling to help the elderly in many ways than just providing hands-on care. Combining her life-long passion to help others achieve their goals and her years of experience working hands-on with elderly, Karole believes that there are no tasks too big or too small for her to handle when it comes to bringing the best care for Family Private Care clients. Karole lives in Birmingham with her fiancé and her two black lab dogs. She loves to indoor boulder, read, travel, and see live music.
