Family Private Care

Need a caregiver who “lives in” your home?

Some elderly adults cannot be left alone for a variety of reasons. Some have some form of dementia and should not be left alone due to safety concerns. Others may have a fall risk and family members are concerned about them being alone all night, and during the daytime they certainly need assistance.

For some, the answer is around-the-clock care with hourly caregivers who are awake at all times. For others, care is not needed at night but a caregiver needs to be in the home in case of emergency. In these cases, Live-in Care may be the answer.

Live-in Care is one caregiver who actually “lives in” the client’s home for at least five days per week. The caregiver provides care during the daytime hours and sleeps at night, available only for emergencies during the night.

Live-in Care is provided by CNAs and can assist with the following tasks:

  • Provide loving companionship and socialization
  • Assist to appointments and with errands
  • Meal preparation and serving
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping and sanitation
