Family Private Careβs origins began in Florida, a popular destination for active retirees for decades. As these retirees aged into senior citizens, their adult children were faced with the challenge of caring for their aging parents, often on a long-distance basis. The founders of Family Private Care, realizing the increasing need for private home care referrals, created a referral-based business model. This model would provide highly-qualified and diligently-screened home care nurses, nurseβs aides and caregivers to seniors needing an array of private Home Care.
EXPANDING TO ATLANTA & BIRMINGHAM
In 2003 families in the Atlanta area, who had heard of our reputation as an excellent home care in Roswell and Atlanta referral services, urged us to bring our expertise to Georgia. We have now been serving families in 35 counties in north Georgia since 2004, and expanded our home care nursing, Personal Home Care and companionship referral services into Alabama in 2009.

We have provided over 20,000 hours of accredited continuing education to health care professionals in Georgia and Alabama β all at no cost to the health care providers.
