Gary P. Uber, BA, MSW, MDiv, is President, Founder, and Owner of the #1 home care in Roswell and Southeast Area, Family Private Care. Prior to starting FPC from his home office in 1997, Gary served in the Navy and Marines, and was employed as a hospital administrator serving as a Director of Discharge Planning, Utilization Review, Social Work, and Case Management.

Gary has served as President of the National Private Care Association, Chamber of Commerce President, numerous health care committees, and a University board, and recently was appointed to a Medicaid oversight committee by the President of the Florida Senate. Gary believes that true success begins with helping others.

Gary has been directly involved in disaster intervention after hurricanes Charlie, Francis, Jean, Wilma, and Katrina. He was on the ground in Haiti two weeks after the 2010 earthquake and most recently participated in tornado relief work in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Gary remains committed to helping families navigate through the health care maze, making sure clients of any age have access to quality, cost effective home care in Roswell and in Southeast and helping seniors retain control of their health care choices.

Tony Plummer, BA, MS, is Chief Executive Officer and Owner of #1 home care in Roswell and Southeast Area, Family Private Care. His love of seniors and those with special needs was developed when he volunteered with his family at various assisted living communities and nursing homes from elementary school through college. His family engrained in him a deep respect for everyone, especially the elderly.

In 2000, Tony joined Family Private Care and worked in most positions in the company over time. He was named CEO of Family Private Care in January 2008. While his responsibilities have changed, Tony’s commitment to absolute quality service has not.

Krystal’s 20-plus years of experience in senior living has allowed her to meet extraordinary people and build lifelong friendships.  It started with a wonderful connection to her grandparents. She grew up on a farm in Kentucky and learned the value of gratitude. Once her children were in grade school, she began working at a CCRC in Northern Virginia.

Krystal has enjoyed and learned from working in all avenues of retirement living, including skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, home health, and private care.

She loves being an advisor and guiding families through one of the most stressful times in their lives. She has personally experienced situations similar to those of her grandmother and mother-in-law.

Her goal is to show kindness and comfort as well as resources.

Christine has been involved in the senior care industry for more than a decade. Before joining Family Private Care as a Home Care Consultant, she served as Community Liaison, Sales Counselor and Marketing/Sales Director for two of Birmingham’s most respected retirement communities. 
Christine also has experience in the non-profit field, having provided life-coaching and employment assistance that enabled individuals with developmental disabilities to develop the skills necessary to live independent lives.

Described by one of her clients as having a “servant’s heart,” Christine is truly dedicated to the welfare of her clients. In all her interactions with clients and their families, she strives to find the solution that best fits their health care and financial needs.

A graduate of Centre College in Kentucky, Christine has a degree in English and Psychology. She and her husband Bill have a blended family of four children.  Christine currently serves on the board of two local non-profit organizations: Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama and the Birmingham Medical Social Services Organization.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, tennis and traveling.

Karole has served as the Birmingham Care Consultant for Family Private Care since 2019. Most of her senior care experience started in an acute geriatric psychiatric unit at a nearby hospital for several years. She experienced the importance it was to provide the utmost compassionate care for the patients who were admitted for various mental and physical illnesses in addition to providing the assurance to family members that their loved ones were in great care during their stay. It is Karole’s mission to continue to help families and their loved ones find the quality care to live a more comfortable and happier life.

Karole serves several local organizations and has also enjoyed volunteering on two Boards servicing the Birmingham area healthcare industry: the ALS Association of Alabama Chapter Junior Board and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Karole is from the panhandle of Florida. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a BA in Psychology and resides in Birmingham with her husband and their dogs. She loves to travel everywhere, have weekends on the lake or by the beach with family and friends, indoor boulder, and play chess.
