Family Private Care teams up with Aloha to Aging for an Exceptional Fundraising Event

Family Private Care “a full-service caregiver registry designed specifically to assist families who are dealing with the home care needs of elderly parents” has teamed up with Aloha to Aging, a community organization created to “address the social needs of seniors 55 and older with mild to moderate impairments,” and to “assist their family members with their changing role as a family caregiver and create volunteer opportunities for the community.”

Family Private Care is sponsoring and helping to plan THE ALOHA SILENT AND LIVE ART AUCTION. While the work of Aloha to Aging is critical in the community and will continue to increase in need over the next few years, it is actually the only local service provider of its kind. This important event will bring the community together to support the work of Aloha to Aging.

Mark the date now: Saturday, September 29, 2012, 6:30 pm.

The art auction will have both live and silent portions while the party will feature heavy hors d’eouvres along with beer and wine in a casual atmosphere. Sounds like the must make-it party of the fall!

Proceeds from this event will be used to provide the following programs:

  • Educational Opportunities for families dealing with aging loved ones
  • Support Groups for Families dealing with Parkinson’s and also Age Related Illnesses such as Dementia
  • Aloha Day Club: Therapeutically structured adult day respite for those 55+
  • Important volunteer opportunities for helping in the community
