Pursuing a guardianship or conservatorship can be an extremely traumatic process for all parties involved. What is the difference between a guardianship and conservatorship? What are the ethical questions around guardianship/conservatorships? This presentation will review some of the basic questions about these processes as well discuss some ethical dilemmas that can arise when considering this alternatives. Elder Law attorney Cindy Nelson will also review some different case scenarios – allowing the participants to take a closer look at some of the ethical questions surrounding guardianship and conservatorship.
